Terms & Conditions

Last updated: [DATE]

These Terms & Conditions apply to every order placed in the Kisora online shop at get-kisora.com (the “shop”). Please read them before you order. By placing an order you accept these terms. They are designed to protect both you as a customer and us as a business; nothing in them limits the rights you have under the consumer protection laws of your country.

1. Who we are

The shop is operated by [COMPANY NAME] (“Kisora”, “we”, “us”). You can reach us at [SUPPORT EMAIL]. Our address and company details are on the Contact & Legal Notice page.

2. Who can order

  • These terms apply to purchases by consumers, meaning people who buy mainly for private purposes. If you buy as a business, please contact us before ordering.
  • You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract.
  • Please give us correct and complete details (name, email address and delivery address). If details are missing or wrong, we may not be able to process or deliver your order on time.
  • Our shop is meant for normal household quantities. We may decline orders in unusually large quantities, or orders that appear to be placed for resale.
  • We may cancel an order if we have reasonable grounds to believe it is fraudulent or uses someone else’s payment details. Any amount already paid will be refunded.

3. Products and descriptions

  • We describe our products and show photos as accurately as we can. Small differences in colour, finish or packaging can occur, for example because of screen settings, because each board is finished by hand, or because packaging is updated over time.
  • The size of the cutting board is 29 × 20 cm (11.4 × 7.9 in).
  • Please read the care information included with the product and on our Support page before first use.
  • We may update product details or remove products from the shop at any time. This does not affect orders that have already been accepted.

4. How a contract is made

  1. You choose your product and quantity, enter your details on the checkout page and review your order.
  2. By clicking the order button, you make a binding offer to buy the products in your basket.
  3. We send you an email confirming that we have received your order. This email is not yet an acceptance.
  4. The contract is made when we confirm the dispatch of your order by email, or when we deliver the goods, whichever comes first.

You can correct input errors on the checkout page at any time before you click the order button. We store the text of the contract and send you the order details by email. These terms are always available on this page.

Changes and cancellations before dispatch: we prepare orders quickly, so we cannot always change or cancel an order once it has been placed. Contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best. If your order has already been dispatched, you can still return it (see section 8).

5. Prices, errors and payment

  • All prices are shown in the currency of your country shop. Whether import taxes and duties are included in the price or charged on delivery depends on your country; this is shown at checkout and explained in our Shipping Policy.
  • Shipping is free unless stated otherwise at checkout.
  • If a product is shown at an obviously wrong price because of a technical or typing error, we are not obliged to supply it at that price. We will contact you, and you can choose to order at the correct price or cancel and receive a full refund.
  • Payment is handled by our payment provider. The payment methods available are shown at checkout. We do not see or store your full card details.
  • Your payment is charged when you place your order [or: when your order is dispatched].
  • You agree to receive invoices electronically (by email, in PDF format).

6. Availability

We do our best to keep every product in stock. If a product you ordered is unexpectedly unavailable, we will tell you as soon as possible. We may offer you an equivalent product of the same or higher quality and value; if you do not want it, or if we cannot offer one, we refund everything you paid for that product within 14 days.

7. Delivery

  • We deliver to the countries shown at checkout. Orders are shipped directly from our production partner’s warehouse in China by international tracked shipping.
  • We deliver within the delivery times given in our Shipping Policy, and in any case within 30 days of the contract being made, unless we agree otherwise with you. If we cannot deliver within that time, we will tell you and you may cancel the order and receive a full refund.
  • The risk of loss or damage passes to you when the goods are delivered to you or to a person you have named.
  • If a parcel cannot be delivered because the address you gave was wrong or incomplete, or because it was not collected, the rules in our Shipping Policy apply.
  • Because orders are shipped from China, each delivery is an import into your country. Where import taxes or duties are not included in the price, you act as the importer and are responsible for paying them on delivery; see our Shipping Policy for your country.

8. Returns, your right to cancel and our money-back guarantee

You can return your order within 14 days of delivery for a full refund under our money-back guarantee. Customers in the UK and the EU also have a legal right to cancel within 14 days without giving a reason. Both are explained, with step-by-step instructions, in our Returns & Refunds policy.

9. Faulty goods and your legal rights

If your product is faulty, damaged on arrival or not as described, please contact us at [SUPPORT EMAIL] as soon as possible, ideally with a photo. We will repair or replace it, or give you a refund, in line with the law that applies to you. We cover the costs of returning a faulty product.

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights. In particular:

  • United Kingdom: under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. You can reject faulty goods for a full refund within 30 days of delivery; after that, you are entitled to a repair or replacement, and if that fails, to a refund or price reduction.
  • Australia: our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
  • New Zealand: you have rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
  • Canada and the United States: you have the rights given to you by the consumer protection laws of your province or state.

Statements on our product pages about durability describe the qualities of titanium. They are not a separate warranty unless we expressly call them one. Our legal responsibility does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, cleaning with abrasive products, or normal signs of use such as fine scratches.

10. Liability

We are liable without limitation for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, and in any other case where the law does not allow liability to be limited or excluded. Otherwise, we are only liable for loss or damage that was a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms. We are not liable for business losses, as our products are sold for private use, or for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.

The laws of some countries do not allow some of these limitations. If that applies to you, they will not apply, and you may have additional rights.

11. Payment disputes

If something is wrong with your order, please contact us first at [SUPPORT EMAIL]. In most cases we can solve the problem, including a refund, faster than a bank or card dispute would. This does not limit your right to contact your bank or card issuer.

12. Communication

You agree that we may communicate with you electronically, for example by email, and that information we send you this way meets any legal requirement for written communication. This does not affect your statutory rights.

13. Personal data

We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

14. Intellectual property

All content of this website, including texts, photos, videos, logos and the Kisora name, belongs to us or our licensors and may not be copied or used without our permission. If you believe that content on our website infringes your rights, please contact us and we will look into it promptly.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown on this page when you place your order applies to that order.

16. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of [COUNTRY / STATE]. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts of that country.

If you have a complaint, please contact us first at [SUPPORT EMAIL]. We aim to answer within [2 business days] and to find a fair solution. [We are not obliged and not willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.]
